What unlimited data plans does Vodafone offer?

With Vodafone, you can get an unlimited data SIM Only deal on a rolling 30-day contract. This gives you loads of flexibility, as you can change or cancel your plan at any time. Alternatively, you can choose a longer 12-month plan, or an even longer 24-month plan. These options typically cost less per month, so if you’re happy to commit long-term then you can save some money that way.

But you’re not just choosing a duration on Vodafone, as you can also choose between three different data speeds. There’s Unlimited Lite, offering download speeds of up to 2Mbps, Unlimited, with download speeds of up to 10Mbps, and Unlimited Max, with no limit on speeds – it’s this last one that you’ll want if you’re interested in 5G speeds.

All of Vodafone’s unlimited data SIM Only plans also come with unlimited minutes and texts, along with access to Vodafone’s VeryMe Rewards app, which is full of weekly treats, giveaways, and prize draws.

But some of these plans come with other extras too. For a start, there are unlimited plans that come with ‘Entertainment’. These give you a subscription to a choice of Spotify Premium, YouTube Premium, or Amazon Prime, for the life of the contract.

Then there are unlimited data plans that come with three ‘Xtra benefits’. Those benefits include unlimited picture messages, device care (meaning device health checks and a valuation), and inclusive roaming in either 51 European destinations or 83 worldwide destinations. Some unlimited data plans even give you both the three Xtra benefits and an entertainment subscription.

Is Vodafone unlimited data really unlimited?

Yes, Vodafone’s unlimited data really is unlimited – at least in the UK, with the only restrictions being speed caps on certain plans (but you can pick an Unlimited Max plan if you don’t want speed limits).

When roaming, Vodafone applies a 25GB monthly data limit, so you can only use that much each month when abroad. On some plans you’ll also have to pay a low daily charge to roam, but many come with roaming included.

Can you tether with Vodafone unlimited data?

Yes, you can tether on Vodafone’s unlimited data plans, and there are no limits when doing so. Some networks have a fair usage limit which restricts the number of devices you can tether to at once, but not Vodafone. That means you can get as many gadgets online as you want using your phone’s data connection, and there’s no limit to the amount of data you can use for this either.

Can you use Vodafone unlimited data abroad?

Vodafone offers inclusive roaming on a number of its plans, while others let you roam for a low daily cost. However, there is a fair usage limit of 25GB of data when abroad, so that’s the most you can use each month when outside the UK.
