Lebara offers four different unlimited data plans, two of which last for 30 days, so there’s no contract – you’re free to change or cancel the plan at any time. The other two last 12 months, but cost less per month for the equivalent plan.
All of these plans also include 5G data plus unlimited minutes and texts, but the cheaper of the 30-day and 12-month options additionally give you 100 international minutes to 42 countries, while the more expensive options give you unlimited international minutes to 41 countries, along with 1,000 minutes to India.
These plans also come with inclusive roaming in the EU and India.
Many of Lebara’s plans are just 30 days long, so there’s lots of flexibility as you’re not locked into a contract. They also include international minutes to dozens of destinations, which makes Lebara one of the best choices if you frequently call abroad.
Lebara’s unlimited data SIM Only plans are also a great choice if you often visit the EU or India, since roaming in those places is included.
And with coverage provided by Vodafone, you’ll be able to get a signal on Lebara in all the same places as you would on Vodafone itself.
Plus, you don't have to pass a credit check to get a Lebara SIM Only plan.
Yes, in the UK Lebara’s unlimited data plans really do include unlimited data, so there are no real restrictions to your data usage, beyond it needing to be for personal use and not being fraudulent.
When roaming, there are some limits, with there being a fair use limit of 30GB of data per month in Europe and India, but that’s still less restrictive than on a lot of networks.
Yes, you can tether on Lebara and there are no limits to how much data you can use for this if you have an unlimited data plan.
So you can get as many laptops, tablets, and other devices online as you want, for as long as you want, using your phone’s mobile signal.
Lebara lets you use your data in Europe and India at no extra cost, however you can only use up to 30GB per month, so it’s not unlimited when roaming. Very few networks let you use unlimited data abroad though, so this isn’t unusual.
In fact, a lot of networks don’t provide inclusive roaming at all (or only offer it with their most premium plans). And when they do offer inclusive roaming it’s often limited to Europe – whereas Lebara lets you roam in India too. So that’s a big perk of this network. Its fair use data limits when roaming are also higher than on a lot of other networks.
Lebara doesn’t offer any Pay As You Go bundles, so there’s no unlimited data option for this. But as its SIM Only plans are just 30 days long, they’re similar to buying a Pay As You Go bundle anyway.
You can however Pay As You Go by topping up, with calls costing 25p per minute, texts costing 19p each, and data costing 9p per megabyte. So there’s no limit to how much data you can use like that, but you’ll be charged by the megabyte, and if you’re using much data it will work out far more expensive than buying one of Lebara’s SIM Only deals.
There are loads of options if you’re looking for an unlimited data deal. So as well as Lebara, you could consider Three, EE, O2, Vodafone, Asda Mobile, iD Mobile, Giffgaff, Lyca Mobile, Smarty, Tesco Mobile, Talkmobile, or VOXI.
