Vodafone has widespread 4G coverage, currently accounting for over 99% of the UK population, and it has also brought 5G to hundreds of towns and cities. That coverage is increasing all the time too.
Vodafone also offers loads of extras with its phone contracts, including subscriptions to entertainment services and in some cases inclusive roaming.
Vodafone’s 'Entertainment' plans give you free access to a choice of YouTube Premium, Amazon Prime, or Spotify Premium, so whether you’re more into music or TV there’s a great extra suited to you. Select Vodafone plans also come with inclusive roaming, and all customers have access to VeryMe Rewards, which includes treats, offers and discounts from various brands.
Many Vodafone plans come with inclusive roaming, so you can use your data abroad at no extra cost in either 51 European locations or 83 worldwide destinations (up to a fair use limit of 25GB), and even plans that don’t have inclusive roaming can use their allowances abroad from just £2.25 per day, or even less if you purchase an 8-day or 15-day roaming pass.
Vodafone lets you use as much of your data allowance as you want for tethering, at no extra cost.
All you need is your Porting Authorisation Code (PAC), which you can request from your old network, and your new temporary Vodafone number. The easiest way to request a PAC is to text the word 'PAC' to 65075 from the number you want to keep.
Then, just give your PAC code to Vodafone during checkout or fill in a form on Vodafone’s site after you have your new Vodafone SIM card, and they will handle the rest.
