O2 has just brought 4G to Toddington, allowing those in the area to work remotely, stream media on the move and use email and social networks wherever they are, so whether working, keeping entertained or staying in touch with people 4G will help.
Derek McManus, chief operating officer, Telefónica UK, said: "O2 customers in Toddington can now experience faster mobile internet on their devices such as streaming high definition TV, shopping on the go, and video calling.
"For our business customers, 4G is all about working more effectively. For instance, they can work remotely, access cloud services and collaborate using apps. O2 4G can make everything easier for our customers."
According to Luton on Sunday the mobile network has finished its roll out of O2 4G in Toddington, but it’s now also upgrading its 2G and 3G infrastructure in the area.
When this work is complete it will lead to a more reliable service, but while work is being carried out the network warns that there may be some interruptions. If there are you can always use O2’s TU Go app to keep communicating over Wi-Fi.
The upgrade work is part of a £600 million investment made by O2 this year alone, set to rise to £3 billion by the end of 2017. The O2 4G upgrade in Toddington follows recent roll outs in Ellingham and Oswestry and many more places are likely to get a 4G boost soon.
